For the Milli Point Two “DAY TWO – STAR-STUDDED MISFIRE” collection, we were briefed to create something out of the ordinary - experimental, narrative, and unapologetical. The result is a 5 part wild visual and narrative where the future meets the past. The story follows a group of students who own alien-tech garments that crash-landed from space and are trying to replicate it. The students are tipical office workers who need to catch up on all of the knowlage missed in the past so they enroll in night school. But they’re no academics. Between flirting with the teacher, sneaking out for smokes, and ending up in the principal’s office, they turn the classroom into chaos.
The visual collides space-age fashion with Balkan mischief, office-era comedy, and the drama of a high school film that never existed. It’s an experimental collision of space-age minimalism and rawness in all aspects.
